No easy way to discern between Economy Plan and Starter Plan: Not sure what hinders GoDaddy to label Starter Plan and Economy Plan before two hosting plans owned by me; user-unfriendly is the theme propagated by GoDaddy

Because of a client's decision to shift from Web Economy to Web Starter package for cost effectiveness, entered into process of removing domain name from Web Economy so that the same can be linked with Web Starter plan. Told by customer support over phone to wait till Web Economy plan expires (waiting period 2 days for this case and so manageable)! This appears to be either part of GoDaddy's marketing plan so that less customers shift from high-paying to low-paying products that are competitive or technical hitch.

One can change from Economy to Starter because of cost effectiveness.

The Starter plan costs Rs. 129 monthly while Economy Rs. 249 (Feb 20, 2015). Using coupon codes may change that drastically and one should thoroughly search for coupons available to you as an existing GoDaddy customer or general coupon codes.

Because of change in hosting plan from Web-Economy-Linux to Web-Starter-Linux with GoDaddy, your website will be down temporarily. Need to remove domain name from old plan (Web Economy) which takes around 24-48 hours before associating the same with Web Starter.

With us using 4 email addresses, 10 free email address with Web-Starter sufficient. Using only 1 out of 10 databases, Bandwidth 2GB, Diskspace 2GB/100GB. One downside of Web-Starter for us is cannot have a secondary domain name going forward.

Having only one database under Web-Starter can be a limitation if we intend to add applications like Simple Machines Forum as the same requires additional databases. Not out of context, difference between Joomla components, modules, plugins on one side and applications on the other is the former can be installed through Joomla admin/backend, uses the same MySQL database that is created while installing Joomla while the latter (Applications) operates independent of Joomla CMS and each application requires an additional database. If Simple Machines Forum is forum application, Joomla is CMS (Content Management System) application.
